My apologies.  I’ve corrected the directions for the hearts on the last post.  I’ll do my best not to let it happen again. 😳

I made 3 more hearts to double check my directions, and decide what to do about them.  I ended up sewing them together in pairs with an overcast stitch.  You can see it on the ones I sewed with white yarn.

I left the ends of yarn long, using them to stuff the hearts instead of batting or filling.

I’m still not sure what I’ll do with them.  I think singly they would make an applique, and after sewing together maybe a pin.

Although I like them, they seem a bit plain.  Of course, they’re only about 3 inches wide by 2 inches tall, so much embellishment might be tricky.

Today was, well interesting.  I didn’t have a lot of time to knit, so progress on my shawl is slow just now.  Of course the longer rows make it seem slower, too.

The hearts only take a few minutes to knit, and are fun.  Now if I could just decide what to do with them, I’d have an excuse to knit more!
