The toilet paper roll doesn&#039;t appeal to me for hygienic reasons.  I also prefer a smaller diameter than either empty roll and tapered on at least one end.</description>

It is made of wood and is usually hand turned and tapers at one end to slide the yarn off easily.  I don&#039;t have one but I think they are about 3/4&quot; in diameter.
